Artists
For visual artists working in a
variety of mediums, Art on Boston offers a 60-day Main
Gallery exhibit that includes a reception for artists,
postcards and promotional information about the show,
advertising and more. Art on Boston adds a 45%
commission for artwork sold, and requests submission of
a variety of sizes and prices. In addition, Art on
Boston has artist studio spaces for rent, an artists
cooperative and art classes, for which we’re always
looking for qualified instructors. Artists accepted for
display will be notified to make an appointment to show
available artwork. For artists wishing to be considered,

Artist Cooperative
Exhibit space is available in which artists can rent an
approximately 5’X8’ wall space, or an Art
on Boston display case. The rent starts from $85 per month, with
a minimum of three months, and a 35% commission (or
40% in lieu of volunteering in the Gallery)
on all
artwork sold paid to the Gallery. Artists are requested
to change out their artwork once a month, and help out
in the Gallery a minimum of 8 hours a month. All artwork
must be juried in, and we request the information below
concerning your artwork.
Teaching art classes:
Please send us a description of your proposed class,
length (hours and/or days), supplies needed and your
fee. Let us know basically what days you are available
to teach (weekday or weekend, morning, afternoon or
evening) and any special needs you might have. Depending
on the price of the class, either a percentage will be
added for Art on Boston, or teachers will be paid an
hourly rate.
Exhibiting in the Main Gallery:
Local, regional, national and international artists will
be juried in for 60-day themed shows. Depending on size
and medium, about 3 to 5 pieces will be accepted for
exhibit. Keep in mind we are in the business of selling
artwork; successful artists will have art in a range of
sizes and affordable prices. Please include:

Groups
For organized non-profit groups or
informal groups of visual artists working in a variety
of mediums, Art on Boston offers a 30-day group exhibit
that includes a reception for artists, postcards and
promotional information about the show, advertising and
more for a $15 hanging fee per artist. Art on Boston
adds a 30% commission for artwork sold, and requests
submission of a variety of sizes and prices. Groups of
artists accepted for an exhibit will be notified to
submit available artwork by email. For artist groups
wishing to be considered for a 30-day exhibit at, please
